little turkeys

Happy Thanksgiving at preschool for Gray!

In one room were gathered the most children mommy has ever seen in one place since becoming a mother.  It was deafening but cute.  She also couldn't shake the feeling that at any moment all the kids could just at once spontaneously stand up in their metal folding chairs and start beaming rolls at the adults.  (Maybe that is a feeling teachers live with??)

G. with one of his two wonderful teachers.

And with his wonderfullest buddy.

These two are t-r-o-u-b-l-e but cute.

Really cute.

jack / first OK barber shop chop

It was time to tame our little lion's silky mane, so we headed to the OK Barber Shop

It seemed prudent to have the pro of the family go first for all to watch how it's done, so big brother climbed up into Mr. Steve's chair - "I've got it, Mom. I can do it by myself." (Sniff, sniff!)

His very serious "before" photo.
We still had a little bit of the Halloween spirit left in our system.
(Or maybe that's just sugar?)

"Mom, take this one. It's my spooky smile."

Jack's turn!

Hmmmmm, mama.

All hands on deck, please!

Uncertain what this was.

"How does my hair look?"
"It looks good!"
"How good?"

This one's all done!

The pacifier dropped into a lot of hair.

But then he was done.

And it was worth it!
First lollipop [his mom is aware of].

Dad could not resist.

But the boys were happy to wait.

Really happy.

Maybe toooo happy.

Last bit of refined sugar for a while methinks.
