Ho ho ho

Today we decorated our Christmas tree and tonight you
boys got to go see... Santa!

Daddy driving us in the hat Gray asked him to wear.
On the way to see Santa, Grayson described what he would say ("I will tell Santa I would like a robot. With buttons I can push! And maybe some candy"). But then he got very shy on St. Nick's lap.

"Now what was I going to say?"

Tia was able to fill in the silence with some requests of her own for dear old Santa Clause.
There were only two he said went against his principles, so that's pretty good.

"Lady. I don't do guns or money."

Jack enjoyed his very first candy cane!

It was a winter wonderland of lights.

Kiki toted Jack around for a bit because she loves us and he loves her at least as much as his candy cane.

Afterwards we had a big family dinner at a Chinese restaurant with Uncle Jim and Aunt Summer.
When we got home at the evening's end, Mama noticed something funny on the car roof.

It was the rest of Jack's candy cane!

The holidays are magical.
