gray + uva

Mommy and daddy's dear friends from Georgia-the-state came to visit and we took them to the University of Virginia.  It was Grayson's first time there, too! (Jack was napping at his grandmother's.)

Surely that sign doesn't mean US.

Maybe it just means the scaffolding.
Definitely ignoring the sign.

Best part of his day.
I think TJ would be okay with this.

"Are you in there Mr. Poe??"

Running away!
I mean, exploring some of the gardens.

Housekeeping staff wanted to say hello!

Grayson with his new best buds.

Maybe we will get to take a graduation picture here someday??

In the stacks at Alderman Library.

"The Pleasure of Their Company"

Just trying to dig up
the floor of the Rotunda.

Driving a tractor on his dad's head
and possibly oblivious to the very cool
renovation work behind him.

But driving a tractor on dad's head kept
him quiet during our tour. (Mostly.)

Lisa had a few things to say.

She's not finished.

Brandon had some questions.

The Lawn as seen from the Rotunda!

A historic smooch.

Just resting, halfway down the
Rotunda steps.  That's why they put
a fireplace there, right??

Our dear little photo-bomber in action.

After I sent Gray away.

Guess this post/album should more accurately be titled
"gray + tractor  + uva"

A boy's life.

"Dad! Come on, now."

Someone take the camera away from mom.

Leaving the University...

....but they'll both be back someday!
