graysonisms

"But I looove chocolate milk.  When you guys are gone, I'm going to drink all the chocolate milk. And eat spaghetti allll the time. That's what I'm going to do when you guys are gone."

(Mandatory follow-up, encouraged in part by our dinner guests:

Us: "Well, where are the rest of us going to be when this happens?!"
Him: "Heaven."
So I guess it's partly good news.)

From the backseat as we're driving:
"Mom, I think we should look in the car and see if there's a lost cheeseburger in here that is still good to eat."

Overheard at the beginning of a post-disciplinary action (a time-out) debriefing with his dad:
"Dad. I could really use a cup of coffee."

"Mom, I walk like a robot almost every dayyy.  Almost. ...Almost means some days but not all of the days, right?"
[Maybe this was especially funny because he had both his underwear and pants down around his ankles to help him walk like said row-bought.]

One September morning after getting himself dressed around 6:30am:
"Ok mom, let's head out."
(Hi Grandmother "Tia", you'll remember this as the day we got to your house and you were still in your nightgown...)
