On our first full day in the Bahamas...
we beached!
This is actually not on the "ocean" side, but on the calmer bay side. Grandpa and BB showed us a place called Crossings Bay, where mom and dad had never been before. You drive through a little lane completely shaded by palm trees that opens up to a pure, white sand beach with crystal clear shallow water and no waves to knock you down (yet).

Gray runs as fast as he can into the water. |
After playing all day (and some napping), we got to go to the restaurant at Orchid Bay for their weekly wing night. Everyone ate their fair share and you especially liked the baked mac 'n cheese. Of course. On the way home Mom tried to take a picture of the crazy cart behind us.

Who are these crazy people? They're gaining on us!
They're catching up.
Jack says, "Don't run into us, Grandpa Mike!"
Luckily, Grandpa knows how to drive a golf cart pretty well.
